With the release of Marvel’s solicitations for February 2024, we now know that a new 4 issue series from Marvel and returning writer Ed Brisson is due to hit comic book store shelves on the 21st of February 2024!
For years, Theta has hunted and killed Predators in her search for the one that killed her parents. Now she’s on a mission to free the human captives from the Predators’ game preserve. But when a Super Predator is on the loose, even a seasoned hunter like Theta can become prey…
Ed Brisson is returning to pen his 3rd arc with Marvel, titled Predator: The Thrill of the Hunt (not to be confused with Dark Horse’s novella Alien vs. Predator: Thrill of the Hunt), continuing the storyline of Theta. Brisson is joined by artist Francesco Manna who has worked on many Marvel titles. Francesco will also be providing variant covers, while Cory Smith will be doing the standard covers.
The first issue of Predator: The Thrill of the Hunt will be on the shelves at your local comic book store on the 21st of February 2024! Thanks to Chieftain Suom for the heads up!

Update/Correction 24/11/2023: Per Marvel’s official announcement for the series, this arc is actually titled Predator: The Last Hunt. Speaking about the new series, writer Ed Brisson explained that:
“Theta has been carrying a lot of guilt over the events of the last arc and has made it her mission to find the Predator Stasis Farms and free the hundreds (thousands?) of prisoners being held for the Predators’s hunting pleasure—at the same time, her 20 plus years of Predator hunting is all coming to a head as she suddenly finds herself in the crosshairs as it becomes clear that her mission may be a trap.”
I don't know, but I had also a feeling that it might be the case. The ones from Predators are hunting others from their species, wchich I presume isn't normally allowed, since we rarely see that behaviour. And upgraded Predator is acting more like a thug than a hunter, he isn't interested in hunting, just in artifically making himself stronger and killing for the sake of killing. Of course if we ignore that the movie is implying that most of Predators are doing it. I always thought that only tghat specific upgraded one, or eventually small group lost their way and started those experimentations, and that's why we see a conflict with fugitive. Of course it's better not to think much about story in The Predator, better to just flow with it and have dumb fun.

The Preserve.
My f**king eye is twitching over the use of the name Super Predators. But I do agree. I hope they continue to use new designs. I really don't want to see any of Predators' Predators reused at all.
