New pre-orders are now live for AVP, AVPR, and Alien: Resurrection 1:18 scale figures by Hiya Toys. While they still have a number of other releases set for the remainder of this year and leading into next, we now have more additions to their offerings for later in 2022.
Featured are the Predalien, and two versions of the ‘Wolf’ Predator (Battle Damage, & Active Camouflage) from AVPR, as well as the Newborn from Alien: Resurrection.
Here are the descriptions and images for the upcoming figures planned to release around this time next year:
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem – Predalien PX 1/18 Scale Figure
From the film Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem a Chestburster erupts from Scar’s chest; it is a Predalien, a mix of Yautja and Xenomorph! This powerful creature possesses mandibles, dreadlocks, a yellowish hide, with a large multi-spiked blade for a tail. The dome covering the Predalien’s head has been faithfully recreated in 1/18 scale along with it’s tail, which is thicker and longer than a drone. This 5.7-inch figure features incredible articulation and comes packaged in a window box.
Alien Resurrection – The Newborn PX 1/18 Scale Figure
From Alien Resurrection, the Mutant human/Xenomorph hybrid born aboard the USM Auriga, The Newborn, joins your collection as a figure from Hiya Toys! This eerie creature comes to life in 1/18 scale and features full articulation to recreate a variety of poses. Standing at 5.3 inches tall, The Newborn figure comes packaged in a window box.
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem – Wolf Predator (Battle Damage) PX 1/18 Scale Figure
Wolf was an accomplished Xenomorph hunter and elite-ranked Yautja who has tested himself against countless quarries and come back with the trophies to prove it. Hiya Toys returns to this heavily-armed hunter with a 1/18 scale figure featuring a battle damaged design. Battle Damaged Wolf stands about 4.6 inches tall and includes a Combistick.
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem – Wolf Predator (Active Camouflage) PX 1/18 Scale Figure
Wolf was an accomplished Xenomorph hunter and elite-ranked Yautja who has tested himself against countless quarries and come back with the trophies to prove it. Hiya Toys returns to this heavily-armed hunter with a 1/18 scale figure featuring an active camouflage design. Made from translucent materials, Wolf stands about 4.6 inches tall and includes a Combistick.
Also recently announced and up for pre-order are ‘Active Camouflage’ variants, or partially cloaked Predators from the first AVP film. These three are scheduled to release a bit earlier, in Q2 of 2022.
Alien vs. Predator – Chopper Predator (Active Camouflage) PX 1:18 Scale Figure
Next in the PX Previews Exclusive figure lineup is the Chopper Predator, the middle of the three brothers. Distracted by the humans, he failed to slay any Xenomorphs during the ritual hunt and was quickly ambushed and killed by Grid! This figure shows the Chopper Predator activating stealth mode, just like in the movie. This 1/18 scale figure stands about 4.6 inches tall and comes complete with extended wristblades on both hands, and two special short spears with skull.
Alien vs. Predator – Celtic Predator (Active Camouflage) PX 1:18 Scale Figure
Next in the PX Previews Exclusives figure lineup is the Celtic Predator, one of a trio of Yautja that initially appears in Antarctica to hunt xenomorphs! While retaining the same form as its predecessor, this figure shows the Celtic Predator activating stealth mode like in the movie! This 1/18 scale figure stands about 4.6 inches tall and comes complete with the now-standard extended wristblades, a combistick in both extended and retratcted mode, and a shruiken with extended blades.
Alien vs. Predator – Scar Predator (Active Camouflage) PX 1:18 Scale Figure
A Previews Exclusive! Scar, also known as the Alien Hunter, is a Young Blood Yautja who traveled to Earth with his brothers to become Blooded Yautja in the 2004 film Alien Vs. Predator. Scar was the youngest and smartest of the three brothers, but was impregnated by a Facehugger, and was host to the Predalien. This 4.8″ Previews Excusive Scar figure captures the creature’s iconic look in his active camouflage at 1/18 scale. With a fully poseable body, fans can recreate their favorite scene with the included accessories!
The figures listed above have an MSRP of $19.99, with the exception of the Predalien which is listed at $29.99
Pre-orders are available from Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth, or you can check with your local comic shop.
Personally I’m curious as to if or when we’ll see some announcements for figures from The Predator (2018), as Hiya has shown off the hound from that film but we’ve yet to see any of those Predators themselves.

Say what you will about the quality of the game, Colonial Marines spawned some damn fine merchandise.
One thing about Hiya is they seem to be active on their social media. Wouldn't hurt to let them know what what is want.
We had several from Colonial Marines (Raven, Crusher, Spitter, Boiler, etc). Nothing from the comics or games for Preds, yet. I'm sure they will eventually since they already set the precedent with CM.
Its pretty cool that a toy company could put out a toy line inspired by this and that. They did so with some 70s tvshow but updated it, some other exoskeleton stuff. Its a niche kind of cool.

Gonna grab these two to hang out with my upcoming Hiya figs.

That doesn't necessarily mean it can't happen. Look at Marvel Legends, MAFEX, and SH Figuarts. All competing for the same market. Adult collector grade. Competition for more 6-7 inch scale Predators is good IMO. I'd like to have a few extra options.
It's the same reason Funko POPs for Marvel and Star Wars are all bobble-heads - Hasbro has the license for "figures" at that scale, and bobble-heads are a sort of loophole work-around that lets Funko make Marvel/Star Wars products at that scale without infringing on Hasbro's license.
Sounds like would conflict with NECA's line. But who knows.
There's a ton of great figures in the same scale from JoyToy and Toys Alliance.
Bump on this. Can anyone who has both post a picture?
