It seems as though an announcement for the long awaited 4K physical media release for Aliens may be imminent. We’ve seen posts pop up on X from physical media advocate accounts The Discfather and Dawn of the Discs showing leaked pre-order listings for the title.
Director James Cameron was recently at a 4K screening for The Abyss at BeyondFest in Los Angeles, and answered a question regarding the long awaited 4K home release of that film, which hasn’t seen new media available since the DVD days. Cameron assured that it’s indeed coming and according to these recent listings, he’s been at work on the remasters of True Lies and Aliens as well.
The Discfather claims to have seen the 4K remaster of Aliens, and had this to say about the transfer:

-Waxiness Gone
-More Filmic

It’s worth noting The Discfather was one of the first to post about Prey getting a physical release before its official announcement. He also claims that Aliens in 4K is planned for next year.
While we have all of the Predator films now available on 4K, on the Alien side only Alien, Prometheus, and Alien: Covenant currently have that option, with the AVP films missing the treatment as well. We’ll keep out eyes out for an official announcement soon.
