The Alien Chapter for Dead by Daylight is Out Now! New Xenomorph and Ripley Skins Revealed!

After the long rumored Alien Chapter was finally announced to be coming to the asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight, the Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley have landed in the entity’s realm. The Alien Chapter is out now!

Behavior Interactive released a launch trailer for the content which you can check out below!


You may have noticed the Alien Queen in this new trailer, and yes she’s playable! The Queen is a premium skin for the Xenomorph featuring her own unique animations and sounds. She’s also a good bit larger than the default Xenomorph, making her the biggest killer model in the game. 

The Queen isn’t the only new skin announced today. As is typical for Dead by Daylight, the release includes additional premium cosmetics for the killer (The Xenomorph), and the survivor (Ellen Ripley). Here’s a list of them:

-The Xenomorph – Xenomorph Queen – Legendary 
-The Xenomorph – Grid Xenomorph – Rare 
-The Xenomorph – Xenomorph Clone – Very Rare 
-Ellen Ripley – Back in Action – Very Rare 
-Ellen Ripley – Ripley 8 - Very Rare

The Inclusion of the Grid Alien skin from AVP has led some to speculate that the Predator may be coming to the game as the next scheduled killer in November.

While the Nostromo Wreckage map has been added to the game for all players, the Xenomorph and Ripley are purchasable DLC content. 

The Alien Chapter pack can be purchased for $11.00 / £9.49 on the PSN Store, Xbox Marketplace, Steam, or Epic Games Store.

The Alien Chapter pack also includes some extras such as a charm of the motion tracker from Alien: Isolation (here’s hoping Amanda eventually makes an appearance as a new skin!), and Ripley’s ‘Back in Action’ outfit from Aliens.

    The short version is that a man once brought into the entity's realm, an alchemist by the name of the Talbot, came upon a yearly infection that affected the realms, this caused vines and flowers to grow all around, these flowers, called of Pustulas, had a nectar within that was supernatural in nature, Talbot experimented with it, and also experimented how it reacted with different beings, at first testing it on the killers that he managed to capture, the serum would have not just biological, but supernatural effects on it's hosts, affecting their appearance beyond just their body. Eventually the alchemist tested the serum on himself, and became addicted to it, to the point he sold his soul to the entity to get an endless supply of the flowers, he then constantly injected himself and became the killer The Blight, he still kept on experimenting on other killers, to see what effects it might have on them, including licensed killers

    And about the blight skins they are in the lore,  characters who were injected with the blight serum. So the blight got in contact with the xenomorph and somehow injected the xeno with the serum and that how we got this Blight skin

    I've watched the full interview, they don't reveal the next killer, Paulie jokingly showed Predator because he thinks it is, the only hint we got is that it's a license that has previously gotten funko pop merch

    there is an video that revealed what the killer is. I did post to video but I feel like that was crossing the rules so I removed it.

    What if we able to change the power of Predator like with survivors with flashlights med kits and tools kit but permanent.

    Just imagine it as hive walls, help the alien always has hived up hooks

    So how would you rate this mod (DLC) for anyone waiting for a real alien franchise game in comparison with whats out there? Is it a 'just a dlc' from a maker who didn't intend for this engine to be the be all end of for all horror movie tie-in in the gaming market?

    Is it polished and worth coming back again and again to?

    Hopefully man, I do like this game it's just I not good at it most of the time and it make me angry. Which is the reason why I mostly play on private servers because the bots there aren't assholes.

    The bug actually came with the nerf instead of being there before it, the alien was working perfectly before the patch 2 weeks ago, in the last PTB the bug not only got fixed but the way the tail worked changed, making the recovery faster, so it will be a buff once the halloween update drops in 1-2ish weeks
