Angry Mob Games has released a new update for the recently released mobile game, Alien vs. Predator: Evolution (iOS & Android). This update attempts to fix many of the problems and gameplay issues pointed out by fans that were present in the previous version. You can find the full patch notes below:
Optimizations
- Fixed crash issues
- Memory optimizations
- Thermal vision effect runs faster
Controls
- Camera doesn’t auto-rotate during combat
- New option to make the player auto-lock on nearby enemies
- Drone Alien runs faster
- Plasma cannon auto-locks on enemies faster
- Execution swipes are performed easier (you can also swipe anywhere on the screen, and start an execution by pressing the button in the lower right, on iPad)
Balancing
- New difficulty option added: play on normal or hard mode
- You don’t take damage while performing execution moves
- Many difficulty spikes have been adjusted
- Plasma cannons do more damage
Other tweaks
- Fixed achievements posting issues
- Scientists were removed in the 3rd Predator Mission
- Changed Alien execution scream sound
- Various other minor tweaks and bug fixes
