AvP Requiem 2008 Calendar

Anyone remember the AvP2 wall calendar that was posted on our forums sometime early this year? The one that used the old AvP poster for it’s image. Well, guess what? It’s been updated:

As you can see, it shows off the extra tusks on the Predator’s mandibles plus some of the quills that ADI use to show age in Predators. Personally, I doubt it’s a correctly lit picture of the Predator though. You can view at a larger picture at calanders.com.

That’s not all though. An image of the back cover shows off some new, albeit small, stills from the film. Thanks to Ted Newman for the news.

    Dont you think that Wolf right eye is just missing, look closer on the picture it is not just cloaked. and what about his acid-burned face... well I dont think he is blind as aliens     ;)

    click PredatorStuff,  in the close-up wolf toy, he looks good, teeth in the jowels, dark sunken in eyes, acid burns, no chin like avp! Looks pretty bada$$!

    Wolf face looks great! I think he is just really old, almost like the elders. And if you people want to see original pred design just wait to see how the other preds will look like! WOLF IS NOT THE ONLY PREDATOR IN THE MOWIE !!!!!!!!!   8)

    The scence at the end of P2 in the ship was cool. If u look carefully there#s one pred that looks like celtic. And the elder predator is like the original pred plus his laser sight iz on his sholder cannon, which i thought was ace! haha. Wolf is defo better lookin than the avp preds, but yellow?  Rock On!

    The Wolf isn't an elder just experienced..he's older than the predator's in P1 & P2 but younger than the elder predator in P2 & AVP. those predator's had greyish dreds if u remember. The Wolf's an elite predator!  p.s they should have had the smart disc rather than the shriken    ;D

    Not sure what 2 think of it, im not a fan of yellow, but im just going 2 wait till the film comes out. I think the bros are going more by the original's than AVP  Rock On!

    I'm going to write a script.In it i'll have a predator home-planet(not THE home-world,,just a colonized planet).The aliens will be bad a$$ed,i'll have the originals and some of the toy versions.I'll put in at least 5 pred clans.I will find a way to get Adam Baldwin into the film to play Garber!.I'll introduce the karna.If i have to get down on my hands and knees and beg Stan Winsten to work on the preds i will!.The movie will be at least 107 minutes long.There will be 3 sets of music:During the pred scenes the music will be like that from PREDATOR,during the alien scenes the music will be like that from ALIEN,and during the other scenes completely new music!.It will be the most kick a$$ AVP film ever!!!!!   8)  .

    By Colin from IMDB!:  "The entire sculpture was done from scratch. Its much closer to P2. It couldn't be further from the last film. There hasn't been enough material released for anyone to make a good judgement, so hold off on your bias'd comments until the film is out."

    zen,       it's no the predators fault he looks like sh!t looks. it's the piss poor job by the costume artists. look at the predator in the 1st film and all the different predators in the 2nd film, yet they have many differences they all look kick a$$, and not like a predator that looks like he had a keylime pie smashed in his face. you'll have my final thoughts (witch may change) after i've seen the movie.     ;D     ;D

      ::)  Everyone keeps saying that the Predator's face is f---ed up.(I admit the Predator's face does look a little sun burned,LOL.)   :D  The Predator's face does look a little bad,because for one thing,the eye is  too dark,and the mandables do look a little messed up.I'm sure things will get better,the Predator's face may look bad now,but it'al probably look better when AVP Galaxy gets new pictures.And for all you people who say the Predator's face is ugly....YOU ARE A DISCRACE TO THE PREDATOR NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

      ???  What I don't get is if the Predator has fought the Aliens for a long time,then how come he isn't a Elder Predator Like in AvP?My guess is the Wolf is next up in line to become the Elder Predator.Mabye when the Elder Predator dies,the Wolf will take his place as king of the Predator's.(or something like that)The Aliens have another thing coming if they think they can beat the Wolf,they'er in for a big supprise.....   ;D

    Hmmmm.....Did any of you stop to think that this is a different race of predator?.I mean look at the pred face from P1,then look at the pred faces from P2,then look at the faces from AVP,now look at his face.It's like comparing an asian,european,african-american and a latin-american together.I barely have any common-sense at all and i can see this!.And you guys know that they're still working on the EFX for the film right?.So of course the Wolfs face looks a little odd   8)  .

    The Aliens look supper cool. The Predator "NOT SO MUCH". I'm going to SHITE my pants if the Predator in AVP-R looks like the pathetic excuse for a predator in AVP!!!!!!!!!!!   >:(  ...........and  this is coming from a huge Predator fan.

    Jeez these guys suck at designing predators. ITS SIMPLE!!!! Just give the predator a darker skin tone, heavier eyebrows, remove the stupid huge crown and hair, contacts, raise the mandibles close to the eyes, tusks, forehead shading, and bam you got it! This doesn't have anything. The only thing they brought back for the predator was the tiny tusks from P2 and the short dreadlocks.

    The pred is too yellow! the aliens have fat neck's. They should have used stan winston? if they could afford him, if not just copy the original's. It's not hard!  ADI u guys suck! big time!!!

    Definitely a couple of notches above the previous film's Predator, I like the detailing and it has a much more intimidating air about it, but I'm a bit concerned with the giant mandibles..

    I like the this image. Brings out the detail in the faces. The back of this calender is cool also. You can kind of get a good look at the profile of the Predalien. Im still nervous to see how the Predalien actually looks though. I want to see some detail, baby!   wait untill the action figure comes out and see what it looks like

    huh.....Why did they hav't to mess up the Predator's face.I mean COMMON!!!!The Predator's face looks better in AVP,then in the poster.The other mandables look like the Predator's teeth a little.   ::)  I hope the Predator's face looks a little darker in the movie,because the yellow face looks a little like a lemon. :Laugh:

    I'm truly surprised no-one brought up the fact that the Alien is in the same footwear section of a shop that we see Wolf in in the trailers.  Yeah, brilliant Strause Bros. No K-Mart, but a sporting goods store! Such a difference!  FFS. From futuristic claustrophobic spaceships to sporting goods. What's next? Disney Land? AS A RIDE?

    i don't know if it's me or not, but doesn't the cover look like a disfigured mutated predalien with anorexia? it's also scary-ass creepy to me! the psps cover looks better than this....but thats one scary ass cover man!
