Same, I'd rather not have more spoiled because I want to be in the dark about it. Although the multi-player stuff is looking great, I'm actually pretty happy about it, and I can't wait to try it out.

Everything is looking like it really all fits together very well, it's amazing. I honestly have never felt this excited for any Halo game.

Last time I was this excited, it was Halo 3.

I was pretty f**king excited for ODST as well, but in terms of the games that take sequential leaps, this is where it's at. I think it hits me extra hard because of how anti-Halo 4 I was for a while; I didn't have enough faith in 343 as they were, and the Anniversary edition of CE didn't leave me thinking that they really had the chops to tackle the next game...

The thing that won me over, as they knew they would have to do with the longtime Bungie-era fans, was probably the video that showcased the massive range of talents behind the game. I saw passion in the people making it, and they were well aware of what they were picking up from and the challenges they would face in making the series fresh again while keeping the previous chapters untarnished. I see that coming through in every aspect of the game; while Bungie was innovation, 343 is refinement, and by-god, have they gone on a path that'll keep Halo relevant and exciting for years to come.

I'm liking everything except for the fact that they've totally evolved Jackals from bird-like to lizard-like. Guess 343 aren't fans of modern views on dinosaurs. Neither am I, but their look was a bit too established for them to change that drastically.

Oh well, they look awesome with helmets on.
