Another thing the Alien movies never really confirmed if xenomorphs could build up muscle like a Body Builder.

Thank you, mastermoon.

"But the Engineers, and the Tapirs, they're the same.

Moses will discover this, he will discover these f**king things, and call them Engine-Tapirs."

I didn't mind the tight pacing, but the way the story and scenes scenes transitioned (the fifield scene...doubya tee eff mate)kicked the movie in the nuts for me.  :'(

No need to cry we can just wait for an extended cut :).

We can all find solace in the arms of mastermoon.

To many of that watched this movie I'm gonna watch it 4th time.

I really like this movie I know it's flawed but it's really good all we need now is the directors cut.

If I hear him say "flawed" one more time....

The trilobite hugging the engineer creeped me out, too. For some reason, I'm ok with being hugged by a facehugger, but I can stand the thought of something that big with tentacles raping me.

Predxeno is having me worried.

Though, if this were the birth of the xenomorphs, the question still remains how did the jockeys manage to not only get their hands on it, but also make it asexually reproduce by the time Alien occurred (which is only what... 50 years?) and it appeared that the proto-alien still had a lot of evolving to do; inner mouth, back protrusions, etc.  Currently, I'm just seeing it as a freak mutation going on a similar evolutionary path as the original Alien from AVP (or maybe the Alien films, depending on your canon preferences).
