I'm a big proponent of self defense. I am a gun owner and I shoot often, dare say I take my training pretty seriously since I know I am responsible for every round fired if I have to use my weapon in a self defense situation.
That being said, this guy was an idiot and should have been prosecuted.
Unfortunately, the particulars of this case DO fall within the law. But, you better believe most gun owners are not cheering for this guy. They also see him as an idiot, even in Texas.
