Should they go to prison for something like this? Absolutely. They didn't call the cops, as they should have, and they were dumb enough to do this and get caught.
I feel like if Rick was the one caught you would have different feelings about this.  ;D

With that logic,  the score becomes 2 to 1 then :P
No. They both commit crimes against each other, and they both go to prison. They're even.

Huh, I'm conflicted here.

This is product of a broken legal system. It's not fair I agree but that's the way it is.

This guy wouldn't give a shit:

But seriously though, vigilante justice isn't really... right. I mean obviously, but taking shit into your own hands like that, and you're a law breaker yourself. The other guy, welll, no way is he in the right. But this just exacerbates things.

They broke the law. There's no clause saying you can go around beating criminals, whether they're shoplifters, rapists or murderers.

Whether you like it or not you have to rely on the system, it binds everyone. I'm not saying it's flawless, by absolutely no means.

Yeah, call and tell me exactly how that works out for ya.

I'm always willing to swing by for a prison visit.

I'm not saying it's right. It just seemed appropriate given the conversation.

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/06/06/texas-jury-says-its-cool-to-murder-prostitutes-for-not-having-sex-with-you/

Basically a Texas man bought a date thinking she was a hooker, and when she tried to leave with his $150, he shot her in the head for not having sex with him. He was acquitted because apparently in Texas you can use lethal force to prevent "theft or mischief", and he simply perceived her to be stealing from him.

We should start a Save Aspie Fund and raise money to airlift him out of there.
