Why?

Because the movie has already made its decision to keep the iconic designs. If people want authenticity they should just watch that new walking with dinosaurs movie.

Yeah I agree. I grow tired of seeing this argument over and over again  :-\

Awwww, people are talking about something you don't agree with?

Too bad.

Basically people are nitpicking at this point and its pointless. Accurate dinos would only work in a straight up remake.

It's a matter of logical consistency. If the previous movies depicted the dinosaurs as non-feathered, these new ones cannot change that since it would contradict the previous entries, so, deal with it, this is a fictional universe.

Oh I agree with it. Still tiring, specially because I'm fine with the inaccuracies.

It's a new park which means it's a new chapter in this universe. There's no reason why they couldn't give us proper dinosaurs and say something like, "We've extracted full genetic codes and don't need frogs" or something like that.

Jurassic Park 3 had feathered dinos remember. they weren't very feathery, but it was a start. they could have just slowly added more and more feathers per sequel.

But yet, they can get away without it. This is a fictional universe set in the same continuity of a scientifically-dated dinosaur movie. So, who cares about making it scientifically accurate?

That's not a bad idea, actually.

The people who actually know what dinosaurs are, especially when the first film was semi-accurate for its time.

I like this idea.  Then we could have both dinosaurs from the first Jurassic Park make an appearance anyway too.  But honestly guys

please stop arguing about this
