Would be better if they simply cut the fight whilst the two Dinosaurs were duking it out... leave ambiguous who won. They don't necessarily have to kill each other.

Both T. Rex and the Velociraptors are overused. Gimme something new.

They tried and everyone hated the Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus was a great idea, but killing the Rex off was stupid. Heck, I'm not even sure it was totally necessary.

What would have made the movie a thousand times better:

Spino and T.Rex fight the first time. Ends up a draw and both carnivores flee. The group ends up running from T.Rex and Spino at different times for the rest of the movie. Then, at the end, when the Spino is attacking the boat, T. Rex comes in and they have an epic duel in the water, which T.Rex emerges from the victor. The group escapes while T.Rex roars triumphantly.

Agreed. He sure knows how to create atmosphere, and that's really evident in the film.

This is one of the reasons I want full CGI, clunky animatronics don't do it for me anymore

I would love to see a teaser attached to the rerelease of JP, like they did with The Lost World, it had more atmosphere than the movie itself
