[Nightmare Asylum]

Its been a good two days for me and Halo. Preordered Anniversary yesterday, and today I got the Halo Reach ActionClix Warthog for only $5 new!

EDIT: After a quick search on Google, it looks like Halo ActionClix is making a comeback for the 10 anniversary of Halo! This time, it is under the HeroClix brand rather than ActionClix (still made by the same company, Wizkids). I hoe that they don't change the mechanics too because its going under the HeroClix brand (not that the two are very different, anyways). Its not like I really play the game anyways (have no one to play with) but consistency is always nice.

EDIT 2:Hmm, after a little more searching, it looks like they are just reusing the ActionClix sculpts and giving them HeroClix stats. Oh well, I can still use them to display... 

I'm actually thinking of making a diorama for the figures I have.

I'm thinking I might skip on the new Halo game and wait for #4. My origional copy still works and it can function on a 360.

I can see why some people would skip on it, but I just can't let myself do that. The new graphics look amazing (and I'm not at all a guy who buys a game based on graphics), skulls and terminals are added to the campaign, and it includes seven new maps for Halo Reach, all for $40. Its too good of a deal for me to pass up.

Especially when you're the kind of guy who never really buys video games. I think the last game I bought was Reach last year.

This guy got the audio from the original and put it over the Anniversary cutscene. The final product will sound much better, as it's remastered, but this gives us an idea of how the game is gonna be. And it's gonna be noice.

Graphics actually look better than Reach's, even though it's the same graphics engine; there've clearly been some improvements. Now about that framerate...

[EDIT] Wait... why... why did they change the cinematography in the cutscene... WHY DID THEY DO THAT.

And what's up with the awkward, jittery movement on the Chief in the cutscene as well? The assault rifle constantly clipping through Chief's chest... the marines simply standing there before he turns into a mess of jell-o in Chief's arms.

Tell me about it, this one just ruins what was so great about it... and adds f**ked up animation and too much lighting. I'm still pretty peeved about the distance you can see in the swamp; which would actually look impressive itself if the framerate could hold up.

That's my favorite Halo map right there, and it's coming back.

Pretty cool how they added the Superintendent to the sign.
