Moderator Appreciation Thread

I've met a lot of cool fans on AvP Galaxy. Its been such a pleasure drooling over discussions into the depths of the Alien-Predator universes. I think its only right to give support and feedback for our cool as hell moderators. Corporal Hicks, Valaquen, Dachande, MasterChief and Xenomorphine just to name a few. What a awesome group of people. Without you guys this site wouldn't be what it is today.

I thought I would make this thread from the goodness of my heart, all the work you moderators have done deserves some recognition. So fans give the guys a thanks, a note of encouragement or positive feedback. Remember AvPG is the "pulse" of the Alien-Predator fans and community. Thank You guys and ESPECIALLY Corporal Hicks for being so involved with the forums and giving me cool insight into things I didn't even know. You guys Rock!!

Ah my sentiments are the same. I like these guys too. Came just for the Prometheus leaks and stayed for the whacked out science fiction discussion and hanky-panky. Can't wait until Covenant and Predator 4 ramp up. I expect great things for you guys... you're all guys rights? Not a single chick right? Sigh...

Hicks is great and I appreciate his work here along the rest of the staff's.

I love coming on this forum, it personally is the best forum on the internet not just because it's AvP, but because of the community and especially the mods.

They're professional and moderate things intelligently, it's not like on most forums where I lurked and found mods being sarcastic or rude to other forum members.

The biggest reason this place is so well moderated is because of the supreme sense of cordial behaviour from the mods even towards people who misbehave. It's all so sensible, cerebral and diplomatic. And also the way mods tolerate some controversial topics because they trust us as a community to be good even when things get heated.

I don't know all of you moderators very well apart from Corporal Hicks, but thank you all very much for maintaining this place to such a high degree of sophistication, keeping the forum at it's best. And thanks Hicks for being a great friend!

That's exactly what we aim for. And I'm glad that so many of you feel like we accomplish that. I take great pride in how well this website and community has done. I'm so glad that we're back at being a community that is here for intelligent conversation, that is respectful of each other and the people who commit their time to running and maintaining the place.
