That's funny in a way because I'm often jealous of the likes of you and SM who were around for the original golden age. I think of now as a repeat of those times, a second golden age of Alien media (and a lot of it's pretty freaking good, regardless of medium). I'm sorry you can't get into it and enjoy it like before.

We did get alien 3,  AvP game and several comics/novels in that time, but I'd move the date to include avp2 in 2001.

Even though I detest Resurrection personally and see it, not the AvPs, as the lowest point of the franchise, some here do like it. Either way it was certainly a robust 20 years for A & P!
