Mmmmh, I hope Spider-Man has a chance to appear.

If they go to Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales, a non-costumed version and with the original powers (poison touch, camouflage and wallclimbing) minus the webshooters, it could be great.

Or Marvel could give him his own TV series, as they have the Spider-Man TV rights.

I guess they chose new characters to offer something more interesting instead of following a certain pattern of a pre-established character.
Coulson was technically a new character too, and he was nice to see back.
