Lots of Prometheus Screen Shots - Spoilers!!!

This is looking more and more like a spiritual successor to Alien, incorporating certain design elements but at the same time being completely unrelated.  Seems like it'll be an "Alien meets 2001: A Space Odyssey" of sorts.  Kind of disappointing to be honest.  Sure I love any good sci-fi film, and this looks good, I was just hoping to see Xenomorphs again.

Keep in mind these clips are taken from the Comic Con footage, which wasn't even a true "teaser" trailer.  No way were they going to show images of any alien creatures from the movie, as that would be a huge spoiler.  So, don't dash your hopes for xenomorphs just yet.

I like the giger look of things, but some of the futuristic stuff looks a little too "Tron" for me.

I hoped for a more dirty and "used" look.

The senior concept artist of Tron Legacy worked on this film after all. 

I quite like it personally.

...I'm seeing a picture of one gigantic circular set, with a pedestal in the middle people seem to agree forms a 'head'. But I wonder if the pedastal leads to another level of what seems like a cave, since Scott often like's to interconnect things to make them appear formed, something like this perhaps...

So generally what you're saying is that the last picture is the top of the 'head'?

Them limp looking like eggs which we can see on the new photos they would not be her limp held by the character of the very first photo freed by the fox?

I don't think they're eggs. In another picture from near-ground level, they seem to have a flat top, not round-shaped, sort of like a canister containing something. It is just my impression and probably I'm very wrong.

Also, in the above picture, the 'eggs' don't have the same size. Maybe it's because of the bad quality.

Okay, so if you look carefully at the eggs in the foreground, they seem to have a flat top.

And for some reason, I think it has something to do with this:

It looks like someone is sticking his hand inside an 'egg' and slimy, green goo covers his arm.

Yeah, I also noticed that the eggs looked different.

Looks like where the chair should be.Do you see the circle in the middle of ther platform?Maybe the chair comes from under the floor?

Yeah very possibly. There's definately some interest in the head thing anyway. Im thinking maybe some of those people climbed up there.

Afaik there've already been a comparison of the original SJ pic and this one...should be a different room.

@ Alienhunter, this might be...looks similar!

@ Phantom, afaik there might be an "original form" of the xenomorph included but the focus of the movie won't be on it...i guess it will be some kind of new creation since we all already know the classic Alien. Can't scare anyone anymore...

It's officially unknown whether we'll see Xeno's or not. They like to claim this as a standalone film within the universe of Alien but the more and more i/we see the more it looks pretty damn related to the original.

And certainly i could by that platform being the top of the giant head. I really don't know that'll i speculate too much about it now though. Sure, that's a good chuck of the fun, but we really have no clue what the giant head symbolizes am i right?
