I didn't hate Superman Returns I was just bored by it.  I want the post-Crisis Superman not the pre-Crisis that Singer gave us.  Lex Luther is an evil scheming businessman, not some jerk-off who gets arrested and goes to jail.  Also, I have no desire to see the further adventures of the bastard Super-Baby.  That broad playing Lois was hot but damn, her performance would have put me to sleep if it weren't for the wood in my pants.

Just give me a villain for Superman to actually, I don't know, how about FIGHT and PUNCH and not have the climax of the movie be Superman lifting a goddamn mountain and I'll try not to complain too much next time.  You'd think WB would have learned their lesson when the previous entry featured that bullshit story of Supes throwing the worlds nukes into the sun.  lol  How lame.

Billy Zane as Lex Luthor? That would be pure awesomeness. :)

Billy Zane isn't just in Superman, they want him to be Superman! Thats purely unofficial and i would've put in in my last post but it was supposed to be a secret ;)

God why must we wait so long. How come no one wants Darkseid for a Superman movie?

I pretty much assumed this as soon as Nolan was onboard.

I love how Goyer couldn't conceive a way to do Superman in a modern context.

HOW ABOUT YOU GO READ BIRTHRIGHT.

you read it wrong, it was nolan who couldn't conceive supes in modern context, goyer was outlining his idea for superman and nolan was the one who loved it and couldn't conceive it before that.

Nolan talks a little about the reboot.

It also seems like Brandon Routh is interested in reprising his role as Superman.

I wouldn't mind that at all. :)

I think Brainiac would be the best choice to go with the main villain seeing that they wanted him as a villain since Superman III.

Only if he's voiced by Corey Burton.

Ya...know, Hugo Weaving would make a good Brainiac.
