There's a rumor that Jonathan Nolan is going to direct the new Superman movie.

If it's true, he better not mess things up. Then again, with some help from his brother he should do fine.

It's nice to get it confirmed from Nolan himself. :)

I'm all for Nolan handling Superman, and as for his brother directing? Well assuming his direction is half as good as his writing we're set for one hell of a film.

Also if Nolan did Justice League then I'd probably explode with joy.

I just can't see why they're ignoring what happened in Superman Returns, was it so bad? And why can't Brandon routh return as Superman? his performance was earily reminiscent of Christopher Reeve and i would like to see him return rather than going back to a film superstar like Nic Cage or Brad Pitt.

Doubtful, if he handles his main character as well as he handled Batman then it should be fine. But Supes works fine in a grimdark atmosphere, it just serves to make him seem more pure, which is what he's all about.

My main beef is that he'll try to spice up the villains like he did in the Bat-series. Now that's not a slant against the Nolan Batflicks in anyway it's just Superman TAS did the badguys incredibly well, and as it stands I'd rather see them done like that, than any other way.

Billy Zane in "Superman" Reboot?

Billy Zane as Lex Luthor? That would be pure awesomeness. :)

I'd welcome that. Now if they can just find a suitable Clark Kent.

He does a great job in both Titanic and The Phantom, haven't seen him in anything else though.

I can't take him seriously anymore. For some reason, that one movie with Mel Gibson in the vietnam war, Billy Zane comes out and after that movie I just couldn't stop making fun of him.

As far as I'm concerned Clancy Brown is Lex Luthor. So hire him.
