Question, how is the "Facehugger" edition?
Does it open like every other version or are there differences?

Opens up just the like R2/4 Quadrilogy box.  Though with only 6 disks would be less likely to fall apart.

The ones that matter are elevated to new heights.

Durr. And Alien^3 looks great generally but has a couple of issues that are exacerbated by the change in quality.

Well, then again, newsflash.

Well, I just finished watching them all in glorious BluRay on the ps3. OMG!! Alien could have been released yesterday, so much clarity. I loved the directors cut of Alien 3. Never seen that version before and it was so true to the book in every way. Tied into the series much better than the theatrical release.

You are aware these films were not based on books, correct?

You do realise that the book was in fact based on the film?

He probably meant the special edition was closer to the book and matched more of its storyline.

I don't own the R2/4 Quadrilogy in first place  :-[, so I don't know how it opens.

Nice, but I prefer how the original one, the cover is so damn cooler.
Hope that at least there will be some subtitles... distributors never seemed to care. :S

EDIT: I remember one edition of the Anthology with the "Alien" cover that opened like a booklet. My memory fooling me again or is there actually something like that?

Maybe he means the Region 1 cover design?

A cover which, to me, looks like it belongs to something Stargate related.
