I think so. Although, there could also be a strong possibility that this series also gives some more insight into the ancient past with the Hollow Earth civilizations. It is clear that this is not only filling in the gaps of the timeline in the Monsterverse between Skull Island in the 70's to Godzilla 2014, but it will more than likely build anticipation for Godzilla X Kong as well. It may become established as to what the exact nature of some of these ancient civilizations were like and provide some idea as to how the Hollow Earth works. Either way I am extremely interested as to what this series will entail!
