I haven't found anything to connect it to Joseph Conrad yet. However "Aneisdora" is another name for "Pandora" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora.
It is interesting to note that Anesidora means, "she who sends up gifts".
I wonder if that means this spacecraft is a cargo hauler, or mail carrier?
