...And I totally forgot about it before.
Maybe this ios game just reminds me too much of God of War and the like. Not that that's a bad game, but it looks funny seeing an AvP version of it.

I considered that, but I think this is more a deliberate gameplay choice. People seem to love swiping and tapping their ipads or phones excessively in games, so that's what they've gone with. It's not really a big deal, though, this game is sort of just a novelty anyway. It just looks strange to me seeing this style of gameplay in the AvP universe.
It looks like the iOS version of AVP3.
Almost as awkward as when you notice they've got Predators spraying red blood when they get shot.
Gearbox got access to FOX's archives of the original sound mixes for 'Aliens' for use in sampling the sound effects for their video game. It doesn't get much more "correct" than that.
