Damn, Marines - can't wait to see
Cloud Atlas for myself. I'm looking more forward to this than
The Hobbit right now.
Halloween (1978) - 9/10
The Terminator - 9/10
Both just outstanding classics. Carpenter & Cameron gets everything right in these shoestring budget thrillers. Make sure to re-watch them with friends.
The Possesion - 6/10
Latest from director Ole Bornedal, produced by Sam Raimi. This small budget horror film starts of really well, plenty of mood and good use of cinematography, compelling performances. To me though, the last 1/3 disappoints with a standard plot development for this sub-genre, dealing with possessions, exorcisms and scary kids. I've seen it all before and executed better. Tacked-on ending. It has some genuinely scary moments though, so it gets an above average grade.
Next is
The Woman,
Halloween II and what else we can agree on. And I've borrowed Terminator 3 on dvd from my bf. I
might need extraction later on...
