the movie itself was excellent, it's just it had a sh*tty plot.

Chronicle.

Damn, I didn't expect this movie to be so damn good. If I had gotten super powers I'd be doing the same s**t.

Priest

Well, well, well. I actually enjoyed this. Quite a bit too. Nowhere near as bad as what people have led me to believe. I loved the look of the film and the action was pretty good, although there was a couple of cheesy facepalm moments (springboarding of rocks in midair). Suffered from the same problem as Underworld: Awakening in being too short though. Just like that film it could have done with another 15-20 minutes of extra character development to get you more invested in them.

I don't know why but to me it had a Chronicles of Riddick vibe to me and I liked that.

I'd give it a 7/10.

Sorry but it was totally cliche, which is a shame because it was beautifully shot.

That movie was only like 75 minutes, right? I remember watching it (I enjoyed it somewhat too) and thinking "Wait, what? Shouldn't three be at least another 15 minutes."

The Grey

I really liked it. Not sure what can be said that hasn't been already, but it was enjoyable, and worth the price of the ticket. I'd recommend it.

And if you watch, make sure to stay after the credits. The scene is very quick, but well worth the wait.

X-Files: Fight The Future

It was pretty enjoyable and certainly better than I Want To Believe. The film is also pretty viewer friendly updating who Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) are, even if no one's seen any of the television episodes. Essentially, the story is about an extraterrestrial presence on Earth leading to your usual governmental conspiracy stuff.

7/10
