In one way, I can see that, as it is kind of reminiscent of a Tom and Jerry skit, but on the other way, the fact that it enjoys f**king with people right before it kills them and has the ability to smile at your suffering just sells the fact this animal is no way shape and form, a "real" animal. Least the Indominus Rex was made that way part due to genetics and part due poor living conditions that made it a crazed killer, other predators like TRex and Velociraptor do it due to hunger or territorial reasons, but this mofo is a born psychopath.
Just wished we could have seen it more in action, the thing had perfect night vision and sense of smell, should have actually make the next half of the film a real horror atmosphere of just trying to evade the thing.
