Masrani was cloning dinosaurs in secret Pre-JP3. Ceratosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Spinosaurus were all made by Masrani.

Spinosaurus is implied to be a hybrid creature, which explains its ferocity and its upright posture.

Callback to Tresspasser, confirmed now that 7 T-Rexes were roaming Sorna.

Nearly all the dinosaurs in Jurassic World were shipped off of Sorna. Its implied to be devoid of dinosaurs now.
