I'm very happy with this choice! His direction is beautiful.

I hate to say it but my first reaction was, "Who?" The guy has a short director's resume according to IMDB and there's only one film on there that sounds familiar to me; A Monster Calls.

I'm not suggesting he's not up to the task, I'm just saying I'm not gushing about the choice.

The clip doesn't tell me much, but it does tell me that that film has an 81% approval rating at Rotten Tomatoes so that's a good sign

I really hope he's capable of bringing some of the horror into this series. Also hopefully it won't be as much trouble getting Universal to let them use more animatronics.

I still feel iffy for another JP film. What else could they do next? The idea of dinosaurs on the lose in London reminds me on what they did in the second Jurassic Park movie.
