It would seem more realistic to follow the theme of life finds a way.  But rather than dinosaurs escaping a virus or disease causing an epidemic.  The only way to find a cure is to go to the heart of the problem, Site B.

I'm asking what's so appealing about it's world today
It's got cloned dinosaurs. People love the thought of bringing dinosaurs back to life. The movies give them that. It's really, really not that hard to see the appeal.

But the first one does that, masterfully.
I just don't see the point in sequels that really don't try to do anything new.
Such as sequels to "The Matrix" or "Donnie Darko" I just feel they're unnecessary, I hope Jurassic World surprises me.

Both of the sequels did something different.

Not well. IMO.

lost world: "There's a second island, INGEN is gonna take dinosaurs from it and build a new park in the mainland."
JP3: "A rescue mission."

The basic premises werent bad at all. Shoddy execution.

And? They tried something different, hence getting made.

And I'm assuming that the new goes something like this: Pi Patel builds a new park, and Liu Kang and Emmett Brickowski are somehow involved.

Sequel did try new stuff. And it was a book sequel before it was a movie.

Spoiler
Jurassic World: Patel Corp build a new park, they try to create a new genetically engineered dinosaur to attract bigger crowds but it proves to be unruly... People get killed, etc. Park will probably have to be evacuated. Large scale mayhem with a bigger budget than the first 3 films.

Reflecting on TLW the novel, I'm rather glad certain elements were left out, like the raptors climbing the high hide. It sounded dumb enough in the book and I'm positive it would've looked silly in the film.
