I did like that it was the antagonist of the film. It was nice to see a change from T.Rex. The size was indeed laughable. Carnotaurus was smaller than Iguanodon, the hero of the film for crying out loud in reality.
Of course, a larger monster makes for a more convincing threat. Granted it was a kid's film, I don't think the producers worried too much about authencity.

Still don't know if Carno hunted in pairs or more, like in the film.

Of course authenticity is low on the priority scale. The dinosaurs were speaking English, for crying out loud.

They still should have spoke lemur. :P

Man, it's been a long time since I've seen Dinosaur... pretty sure I still have the VHS somewhere in my basement.

Was one of my favourite movies growing up.

I still remember walking out of the cinema, with my mother asking 'so who was your favourite character?' And I 'the Carnotaurus, mom. Carnotauruses are cool.'

Heh, yep. I actually had the toy of one of them from the movie. Probably still have it somewhere... Awesome stuff.

I did too. You pushed a button on its back and it could roar. My brother broke one of the horns off one day, so I kept calling the toy 'Broken Horn', like it was some badass name they usually give in the 'Walking with' docos.
