There were no human dino hybrids or dinos with guns on the John Sayles script :P

What it did have was a bunch of slightly genetically engineered deinonychus being trained as a (actually quite logical) improvement on "attack dogs" by a corporation. :P

Anyway, i dont give too much credence to the Spielberg rumour :P At least i hope it's not true. :P

There have been multiple Twitter updates from producer Frank Marshal and Colin Trevorrow himself reassuring fans that they aren't scrapping everything.  They just need a little more time piecing together what they have.

Still not as much of a clusterf**k as Phil Tippet's mishandling of the dinosaurs in the first film :P

So I saw this again tonight for the fifth time (!) and speaking of Phil Tippet, I have to wonder. Was the Velociraptor hatchling stop-motion? I swear it looks that way in a few shots.

Ah I see. So what exactly was Phil Tippet's job in this film?

They tracked the movements that he created with his stop motion marquettes through computers and used the recorded movements for the marquette's digital counterpart.  Basically, he was the dinosaur performance supervisor.
