I was mining youtube for examples of special effects puppetry and masks and I stumbled upon this little gem. I'll just leave this here.

I wished I was that talented. I would have put an actor in a green suit and brushed him out of the scene, leaving the raptor.

Not to mention JPIII was almost 10 years ago. Johnston's obviously improved in the time, and he was always intended to direct a 4th film according to many articles.

I'm not disappointed to hear that Speilberg won't be directing it. It was expected.

And with the exception of a few films, Joe Johnston is a good director. Given a good story, he can preform his job well. I wouldn't mind some one else stepping in either, but if it's not Johnston, then it probably won't be any big time directors.

but in other news: http://www.fansshare.com/news/jurassic-park-4-script-to-begin-this-year/

It finally seems to me that their getting somewhere now.

We need Goldblum and Neill back on screen together. Naow.

I wouldn't mind some of the original cast again, but only if it makes sense for them to be there. JP3 stretched it with bringing Alan Grant to Sorna, and It's going to have to be a pretty well thought out plot in order to bring them back in.

JP3 came out July 2001, it been over 10 years and I wish fans would move on about the film since it's not that bad of a movie. Johnston already said he was sorry for JP3 and the Wolfman remake, I would give him another chance.

Johnston really isn't that bad of a directer. He's directed a lot of good films. JP3 wasn't that bad of a movie either, it just looks worse compared to the previous installments. I wouldn't mind Johnston as the directer, just as long as he's learned his lesson from JP3.

Johnston is a fine director. JP3 gets a lot of shit, but its an entertaining film. No worse than Lost World.

No, it was worse than TLW. It was too short, not enough action, too much of a family adventure vibe, and almost no T.Rex.
