Kind of, yeah.
I'm still a sort of dumbass fun loving teen, I'm just seasoned from some hardships and abuse in my life, so I do have some differentiating thoughts and behaviors. And the fact that I don't want to be like those abusers set up my moral code, and my decisions in life. I mean, I most certainly don't consider myself a child, and I don't consider myself an adult by a long shot so... Yeah.

Instead of aliens popping out of your chest it was raptor eggs popping out of women's vaginas (and it killed them). Instead of worms killing the western folk it was raptors who grew up at incredible speeds and a T-rex. Dat T-rex vs Bulldozer scene...

I saw it as a "fun" movie. The reason it wasn't so great is most likely because it was rushed to beat Jurassic Park to the big screen.
