Because few people use headsets. It's not Xbox only, it's not COD only, it's not Halo only, it's every game platform that features game chat. I've run into immature people on PC, while playing on my friends PS3, and while playing on my Xbox. From personal experience, I would say I've actually been running into fewer and fewer childish, immature and frankly rude people.

On the xbox at least, I'd say that party chat has a lot to do with the decline in immature, rude people that are in game chat. Most people are in parties now, so that's probably one of the main reasons there are a lot less.

Modern Warfare 2's is just as bad. If not worse, since there is all of those little challenges and whatnot that piss the kiddies off when they are out of reach.

And Vul- it's Science Fiction. Also, the weapons feel like they have a lot more impact in Reach.

Well, my Derelict map is complete. Keep in mind that the screenshots I show you are not of the finished product, for example, the Jockey and Alien Spawn rooms now have ceilings to keep the immersion, and the power cut will happen in 105 seconds instead of three minutes.
