I think they're better off with a darker approach with shadier agents. Veronica having a soft-spot was best for the story, but there was a part of me that wanted her to be a total cold-blooded and focused operative. Antagonistic agents are always great (see Munich. Please.), but I still like the romanticized stuff like James Bond and Chuck.

Meant more like the Fleming Bond. He was a cold and ruthless sonuvabitch (at least, he was in Casino Royale, only Bond book I've read).

Maybe Jason Bourne would probably be better if talking about films.

I had the Bond majority on my mind; Fleming's Bond was cold as f**k, and that's what I liked. Still romanticized though, same with Bourne. Really just matters what kind of agents we're talking about. I'd imagine ONI operatives would be somewhere in between... the spooks are pretty cool guys though.

I want to play all 6 game sin chronological order before CEA comes out, and Wars is the first by that order.
