Stephan Hopkins probably directed some really great movies (some i still like alot) such as  Lost in Space, Blown Away, The Ghost and the Darkness. He also directed a number of Keifer Sutherland starring 24 episodes as well as the Fugitive webseries in which Keifer also starred in.
I'm surprised he isn't doing high profile films.

I'd say some of the FX were unfinished / had an unfinished feel. The cut was the same.
