Not gonna lie, this disappoints me a bit. I was hoping for a continuation of some kind, not just a retelling. Combined with the novelisation, it means that 2/3 of the #ReadPlayWatch is the same storyline we got 4 years ago, and the new part (Blackout) isn't even acknowledged in Resistance.

I really don't see why people care so much about the IGN thing.

One reviewer for the site gave it a low score, so the whole website isn't allowed to promote anything related to the game now?  Like it's some hypocritical betrayal?  How melodramatic.

It's footage from a game. Ign is as good a place as any. They'll reach their intended audience and perhaps get non fans to support a sequel.

IGN gave ACM a 4,5 and Isolation a 5,9. 

I actually really enjoyed reading their stuff back then, but after some reviews... those guys are more like paid shills than gamers. Still not the worse I saw on the internet.

My dad's in his 60's and has never played a vidya but loves the Alien series.

Hmm I suppose at least some of my family might enjoy this... when the subtitles arrive.
