Brian Wood I imagine.

Nostromo

Thanks, started following him on TW. Has some interesting posts there, not sure if these have been posted before:

Looking like a dream team to me, Brian Wood & Tristan Jones. Heck even Dan Jackson is great as a colorist. And Nate Piekos on the letters.

As great as Tristan's Kline work is, much credit to Dan for his fantastic colours too.

How was issue 3? I have 1+2 and think its ok. But is 3 just a flashback then?

Man this art will look amazing in a fancy pants hardcover if it gets released.

no dude. It's not a flash back. I really enjoyed the third issue. The art is not as good as issue 1 and 2 bout its still very good and feels similar due to the colourist I think.

Nostromo

You're right, the colorist Dan Jackson makes a big difference, really like his colors.

Found another Aliens: Defiance picture. You guys want me to be putting spoilers on these?

Corporal Hicks

Nah, no need. Not unless it looks like a story revelation but I doubt Tristan would be sharing those.

Ultramorph

I finally got around to reading issue #3, and I have to say it was pretty great!
Spoiler
I love, love, love all the sorts of different stories we're getting from this universe lately. This issue had not a single xenomorph, but still managed to be compelling and make me even more interested in what's to come. Seeing the synthetics expanded on is really cool world-building. I cannot wait to learn more about why David 01 is so special. The little Amanda Ripley reference was nice, and I agree, it leaves a good amount of ambiguity about her fate.

As for the art, I didn't find the shift as jarring as I thought I would, and it suited the story well. That being said, I do look forward to getting Tristan back.

Can't wait for #4 on Wednesday!

Yeah, I got my copy of issue 3 today. Great stuff. Really liking how the story's progressing. The art is a step down from Tristan's work, but it's by no means bad, it's just a bit less awesome.
