In the great state of Kentucky we don't have a pro sports team of any significance, and instead live vicariously through collegiate sports. So when the head coach of your collegiate program bounces after fifteen years to take the same position at another school in the same conference, it is a statistically important event.
It was probably about time to be honest, but still I will miss all those five star recruits he brings in. I have a feeling Calipari will have pretty good success at Arkansas. He will still be able to recruit, and both he, the school, the fans, and his incoming players will be excited to make noise.
