UV = Uncanny Valley.

Although Aspie was kinda Cvalda's pet Troll, I don't think he was actually banned here. I think the Corporal kinda pitied him in the way Bilbo pitied Gollum. Not a bad character actually in the right kind of company, I hope he eventually gets his Dredd sequel. And in retrospect, he was probably right about Chappie.

I think Blacklabel is still around in the guise of skhellter.

Nightmare Asylum and myself were trying to run a Chappie thread on UV, but Cvalda and Aspie would constantly pop-up to trash the film even though it wasn't even finished yet.

Aspie was a troll, but he was a funny troll, I'll give him that.

To be fair my thoughts on Neill Blomkamp amount to: "He is a fool and an imbecile, his potential lies downward, not up."

So I see the temptation honestly.

To be fair, back in those days there was still high hopes for Blomkamp. He'd only done D9 and Elysium (which wasn't that bad, especially Kruger). It was also before his proposed Alien film.
