Congrats, I start my basic in October. Was this just basic training or infantry qualification?

basic training, mostly classes on being a good sailor and a ton of cleaning and inspections.  It wasn't as physically intensive as I thought, and hoped, it would.  Mostly just marching, cleaning and studying.  Half of our physical fitness came from IT (intense training) or as we also know it as the orange card- what they whip out when we don't shut the f**k up, or fail inspection.

you know how you try something, b/c everyone around you is doing it, so you give it shot and come to realize you hate it, but you don't want to get rid of it... yeah, I downloaded the yik yak app onto my phone for my area, this is going to make me hate everyone on base.  But strangely, I don't want to take it off my phone, be sure to not post anything.
