The only suspects that seemed likely, were this guy and another Polish immigrant (name escapes me right now). They were the only suspects the police at the time focused their investigations upon, based on the evidence, information and eyewitness accounts they had.
No surprise really if Jack The Ripper turns out to be just another blue-collar, slightly psychotic, misogynist underachiever. That seems to be the overwhelmingly common traits of the typical serial killer according to the FBI. The criminal mastermind serial killer is a product of fiction, alas.
