How would you guys currently change the xenomorph models around. First is get rid of the double jointed legs. Give them proper feet and hands, and fix them Damn back tubes. Well that's just me.

I'd say: "Gearbox...why don't you just watch the movies?"

And then I walk out of their building.

Not that fussed.  It's a game and games always have different designs.  Gearbox is only doing what every other developer has done for the last 25 years.

I can live with the aliens for the most part, although I would like to see the already mentioned designs fixed, but the regular aliens don't bother me too much.

The Queen annoys me more, however, just because it's the wank AvP one and it looks ridiculous how huge it is. Could they not try and capture the more scary, sinister-looking one from Cameron's film? I think GB are really missing the mark with that.

Cameron should've also been reminded, at some point, about the original alien design when he made Aliens back in 1986.  The look of the alien between the first film and Cameron's sequel was, by far, was the most drastic change-of-design that has happened in the series.  It's funny how everybody here complains about GBX's changes to Cameron's alien without seeming to realize this.

I guess now we know how Ridley and Giger might have felt after seeing Aliens in 1986.

With that being said, I think the designs that GBX ultimately chose are more than acceptable to me.  I just wish they'd find some room in their game for the dog alien for Alien3.
