I think its odd that man will often times go out of the way to help animals but won't do the same for humanity.

Not a bitch, gripe or complaint, just an observance.

We've got a hell of a lot to start making up for.  :P

I think Crazy Rich makes a pretty good point, in that animals are generally far more easily approachable than people, especially if you're a introvert, and thus can be easier to help.  Just like its easier to adopt a puppy or a kitten than it is to adopt a child- not to mention, a lot less paper work and red tape.
Probably why I'll live the rest of days my days with a couple cats and a dog, rather than a significant other.

Yet a lot of people mistreat and abuse animals.

Nightmare Asylum

Just saw a couple squirrels sleeping on my grill (one started waking up as I was taking the picture).

Look at your avatar, we are hell always have been.
Pathetic creatures crawling across the earth ruining it like termites inside a door, striving to be something more than just pure evil.

But we evented Fluttershy so hey.

Haha, and Aspie's eyebrows form the missing piece that Nicolas Cage must find in National Treasure 3.
