Avatar Image Help!!!

Hy, im trying to change my avatar to one of the following images:

Preferably: http://demise.wikia.com/wiki/File:Nocturne_Haunting.jpg
optionally: http://boompje.net/forum/avatars/Images/Nocturne_Square_A.png

But when i type the url in the 'specify avatar url' after i hit change it changes it into the 'No avatar' Option. someone help plzzz

Those pictures are too big. The max size for an avatar is 100x100. To make them smaller, you can save the image to your computer, then open it up in a picture editing program or on a website like photobucket and change the size, then reupload it
