I bought 2 Takashi Miike dvd's, which - for some reason - haven't been released on blu-ray in the UK.

I now own 43 movies by this prolific director.

360 is actually the only way I've played it, and that was just last year.

Now that I have a proper PC, I'm thinking of giving it another go.

I popped into the big Forbidden Planet at the weekend when I went to see Memory and picked me up some bits. God, I hate how much I actually like those stupid vinyl figures now.

Well this was one of my holy grails. Over 300 pages of Predator 2 material from the Director of Photography department used in 1990. The shooting script. All the storyboards, beginning to end, including revised boards. Shooting schedule. Even all the home addresses and telephone numbers of people like the Thomas Brothers and director Stephen Hopkins down to the hair stylists - which I'll never post in case someone still resides at the same address.

Looking forward to doing a deep dive!

Yeah once I complete analyzing it all I'll figure something out, like paging through all the storyboards on YouTube or something, etc.. But first I suspect this will help feed a couple new articles, including the one I'm currently working on.

Bought a couple pairs of Rothy's. In general they are good flats that don't wear out easily like others. They're also comfortable once you get the sizing right. I still think they're ridiculously priced considering they're made from recycled materials though but still too soon to tell.

A little belated, but I finally picked up the 2CD reissue of Iron Maiden's Killers to complete the full set. Just need a handful of live albums and I can finally get rid of the ear-bleeding '98 remasters.
