i don't see why anyone would buy a new car to be honest, cars as little as a year old can be half the price :S

Yes, indeed. But there is something called "guarantee", my car had it for 3 years... And as woman I'm not specialist, in case of any problems I would need this guarantee for sure.

So I always prefer new things. Always.

to be honest, i agree, i prefer new things too, but when you are talking about a difference of thousands of £ or $ or whatever, i'd rather spend 10k on a used car and spend 5k on making sure it works perfectly, than spending 25K on a new car. for example
