I'm not gonna lie. I hold a TINY grudge because it was reported that Game of Thrones popularity led to the downslide of viewership for House, and its cancellation. So I'm biased. Slightly. Maybe.

It was in an interview with David Shore, the producer/director of House. He said the new wave of HBO/Shotime shows, including Dexter, Nurse Jackie, WEEDS, and Game of Thrones (leading the way) was diminishing the poularity of House (an older show) and other FOX T.V. productions.

But why single out Game of Thrones?

I've never watched Dexter. Nurse Jackie is good. WEEDS is pretty good. Spartacus is... well, AMAZING. And honestly, I was not impressed with the first season of Game of Thrones.
