Not sure how I feel about that. Seems they replaced the sentient race of machines hell-bent on the complete destruction of every highly-advanced civilization with Doctor Insano.

Huh? It's not like they are personally opertating on these creatures. It just seems like an evolution of Husks, but with the multiple races, it's more like a hive development-- almost like Zerg from StarCraft. Okay, maybe not THAT far. But I don't see anything out of place with what we already know of what the Reapers have done, especially considering the Protheans being twisted beyond recognizable form into Collectors.

Well, that's why they are integrating synthetic material with other species.

Perhaps they figured using organics (ala Protheans/Collectors) as mindless drones was their idea of a poetic statement.

I would like to him look more natural not so.... Husk like... oh some really cool flashback to his natural turian self would be nice! DO YOU HEAR ME BIOWARE DO IT!

Don't see what purpose that would serve during a galactic-scale war... unless it had to do with him encountering Reaper technology, and some way that can be used to exploit a weakness of theirs.

So on that note: God, I hope not.
