Chatbox ?

What are the chances of the site implementing a chatbox ?
Perhaps via the main page ? Its a good way to soak up spam and for members to get to know one another.

There was one twice.

The first was a few years ago ( before I joined ) and another was around this past Chrismas. My best memory on this site was there.

Ah ... Good times ... I think it should come back. Lets ask?

Well, thats why I made this. Hoping someone would notice.

I hope they do also.

But I doubt any of the site staff have the power to create it. I think that lies with Darkness and considering he closed it twice our chances are slim.

But yeah hopefully a Site Staff will stumble across this and put a word in. Perhaps we should list reason why it'd be good to have one?

2.) Is a feature that'll attact more AVP fans to the website.

Also on the note of " Users might talk about something your not supposed to talk about in the threads" simply get a MOD to watch over it.

Or better yet make someone a MOD and their job is to watch over the Chatbox.

Even then, they could make it so that only users who are 18 can use/see it.

No need making it 18 plus you couldn't have pictures in the old one and most talk is about the films and game that are coming out.

Doesnt matter about pics really. Its for small, quick chats and spam among members. It can be good for conversations. Normal threads can get off topic, much to the shagrin of the staff. Also, other members can interrupt and start off a tandem.

But tbh I thought that happened more in the chats but only when they had more than say 4 people. I remember 1 good chat I had for like 4 hours. Good Times.

You can acutally have a private chat room in the larger chat room.

If you want to make one " 18 +" you could but it'd be hard to enforce.
